- We do not offer licenses to individuals.
- WRDS is only available to academic and non-profit research institutions that pay an annual fee for the license.
- Our vendor agreements prevent us from licensing WRDS to commercial entities
- Free two-week trials of the WRDS interface are available as a group to schools - they are not available to individuals.
- Trials must be requested by a full time faculty member, librarian or IT staff member.
- Trials include access to the following data: Bank Regulatory, Blockholders, Bureau van Dijk's AMADEUS, Fama-French ("Research") Portfolios and Factors, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), Federal Reserve Bank reports, Penn World Table and SEC Disclosure of Order Execution.
- Trials may include CRSP and Compustat but prior approval from the vendors is required.
